Airport




So here I am, back in Sydney again. I'm supposed to start choosing the courses I want to take next semester but I'm just too lazy to do it now- still in my holiday mode... I guess it's alright and I think I have plenty of time to settle that, the  final date to enrol is on the 29th July. One month of break! Yay. Life is good. Alhamdulillah. Athera is coming tomorrow so will have to wake up early and go pick her up.

Haha I actually wrote the above last night but then I got bored and just went to sleep. I'm in the train right now, on my way to pick up thera at the airport... Goodness the return train tix to the airport is so expensive! Lol. But it's alright... It's not everyday that friends come to visit me here in the land down under! :)

Anyway, I can't wait for tonight... Jo and I are taking thera to see Phedre at the Sydney opera house! This will be my first time too so I'm quite excited! :) 

Not really sure what we're going to do/go the next 7 days but we'll figure it out. We've listed down a few places to go so it should be ok.

I'm actually very hungry right now... The last time I ate was at 5 pm yesterday... Maybe I should get breakfast with Thera if she's up for it. 

I think that's all for now. Not really a fan of blogging from my phone... I'm still in the train and still a lot of stops before i reach central and change to the airport line. Can't wait to see Thera!

Oh one more thing, I love the song "running" by no doubt. Been listening to it a lot... The song is exactly how I feel about him and I at the moment.

Home soon.

In two days, I'll be going home for good and I am actually feeling quite sad. It's quite funny because when I came here 10 months ago, I did not like this place at all. It's expensive, it's hard to get around, and I kept comparing it with Wellington and how I wished I was in Wellington instead of Sydney. But slowly, I grew to like living here but now I have to come home. Oh well, that's life I guess. Maybe in the future ada rezeki I get to go somewhere else? Hypnobirthing

When I first found out I was pregnant, one of the first people I told was a colleague here in UniKL. Her name is Dr. A. I knew her because we had to attend a meeting together at one of the institutes. We were talking about random stuff when I suddenly told her about my pregnancy (I have no idea why I told her). Alhamdulillah

Just a quick post- I just received back my marks for two of my units. Alhamdulillah, I think I did pretty well. I managed to get a Distinction (which is equivalent to an A grade) for Sociology and Education, which is still a huge surprise for me because I sucked at Sociology during my Alevel years (not even kidding, I used to get Cs all the time and my final result for Sociology for Alevels was also a C). Alhamdulillah a Distiction is more than I had expected so I'm very happy! I was actually very worried about this particular unit because the context is very Australian. All my assignments had to do with the Australian education system so I had to learn it from scratch. The unit also only had three on-campus classes and most of the time we had to do a lot of independent learning and listen to online lectures.
