To my hubby

My husband and I have been married for a little bit more than a year. And I know we have a LONG way to go (InshaaAllah if umur dipanjangkan). But so far, despite all of the challenges we've been through (trust me, we've been through a lot despite being together for only a year), I cannot imagine my life without him. I cannot imagine bringing up Yusuf without him in our lives.

Marriage is hard work. But with him, I want to make it work.

I know I annoy the hell out of him, and I'm not the most rajin wife in the world, I do not cook and clean everyday, I merajuk way too much, but I love my husband.

I love him for everything that he is- the good and the bad. I love that he is willing to learn about me.

Dear husband, if you are reading this, yes I love you. Thank you for everything that you have done and even though I rarely say/show it, I do appreciate you a lot.

Oh and you owe me duit raya. LOL.

Nanti when we're both old, I hope I will still be the one you want to spend your hari tua with.

Home soon.

In two days, I'll be going home for good and I am actually feeling quite sad. It's quite funny because when I came here 10 months ago, I did not like this place at all. It's expensive, it's hard to get around, and I kept comparing it with Wellington and how I wished I was in Wellington instead of Sydney. But slowly, I grew to like living here but now I have to come home. Oh well, that's life I guess. Maybe in the future ada rezeki I get to go somewhere else? Hypnobirthing

When I first found out I was pregnant, one of the first people I told was a colleague here in UniKL. Her name is Dr. A. I knew her because we had to attend a meeting together at one of the institutes. We were talking about random stuff when I suddenly told her about my pregnancy (I have no idea why I told her). She told me how much she loves the process of being pregnant and urged me to find out about Hypnobirthing/Gentlebirthing. Alhamdulillah

Just a quick post- I just received back my marks for two of my units. Alhamdulillah, I think I did pretty well. I managed to get a Distinction (which is equivalent to an A grade) for Sociology and Education, which is still a huge surprise for me because I sucked at Sociology during my Alevel years (not even kidding, I used to get Cs all the time and my final result for Sociology for Alevels was also a C). Alhamdulillah a Distiction is more than I had expected so I'm very happy! I was actually very worried about this particular unit because the context is very Australian. All my assignments had to do with the Australian education system so I had to learn it from scratch. The unit also only had three on-campus classes and most of the time we had to do a lot of independent learning and listen to online lectures.
