Day 28.

We went to see Baby Yusuf in the morning because we had to buy a prescription drug to treat his kuning. The nurses and doctor asked if I took/am taking any Jamu. I told them only the first 3 days and then I stopped because I realised it wasn't good for my breastmilk. Yusuf has a fragile tummy, and I don't want to do anything that could further upset his tummy. The doctor said its's probably the nutrition effect (TPM? TPN?) that they've been giving Yusuf before he could feed on milk that caused the kuning. Hopefully the prescribed drug that we got him will make the kuning go away soon.

Currently Yusuf is drinking 20cc breastmilk every three hours...6 cycles per day. I've been actively pumping breastmilk just for Yusuf. I want him to get better. I asked the nurse if he is pooping alright, they told me he's been pooping (Alhamdulillah, which means his usus is working fine).

He still needs the help of the oxigen mask...his left lung has not fully expanded yet...we have to be patient I guess. 

Baby Yusuf, stay strong baby. I know you can do it. We're all praying and waiting for you to come home. I miss you every second...I wish I can hold you all the time baby.

I can't wait to go see you tonight. Wait for Mak and Ayah ok.

Home soon.

In two days, I'll be going home for good and I am actually feeling quite sad. It's quite funny because when I came here 10 months ago, I did not like this place at all. It's expensive, it's hard to get around, and I kept comparing it with Wellington and how I wished I was in Wellington instead of Sydney. But slowly, I grew to like living here but now I have to come home. Oh well, that's life I guess. Maybe in the future ada rezeki I get to go somewhere else? Hypnobirthing

When I first found out I was pregnant, one of the first people I told was a colleague here in UniKL. Her name is Dr. A. I knew her because we had to attend a meeting together at one of the institutes. We were talking about random stuff when I suddenly told her about my pregnancy (I have no idea why I told her). Alhamdulillah

Just a quick post- I just received back my marks for two of my units. Alhamdulillah, I think I did pretty well. I managed to get a Distinction (which is equivalent to an A grade) for Sociology and Education, which is still a huge surprise for me because I sucked at Sociology during my Alevel years (not even kidding, I used to get Cs all the time and my final result for Sociology for Alevels was also a C). Alhamdulillah a Distiction is more than I had expected so I'm very happy! I was actually very worried about this particular unit because the context is very Australian. All my assignments had to do with the Australian education system so I had to learn it from scratch. The unit also only had three on-campus classes and most of the time we had to do a lot of independent learning and listen to online lectures.
