Not ready but it's OK :)

Ok, after 2 weeks I finally have access to a laptop LOL. I've been asking dear husband to bring the laptop up to the room for me countless times, but I guess he has a lot on his mind that he keeps forgetting. This morning I reminded him again and yeay, I have a laptop! No more browsing from my phone...And oh my, messy nya the previous updates! Sorry for that. 

As for Baby Yusuf's update, so far he is doing well Alhamdulillah. I pray every second that he will keep improving and be able to come home soon, Amin. He has started feeding on my EBM, yum yum. Eventhough in small amounts, I am still very happy as this is a very positive sign! He still needs to work on pooping. It takes him more effort to poop I guess.

I went to see him yesterday morning and Dr. Alexis told me that if everything goes well, they want to try to take out the tubes from his mouth. I was so happy to hear that news. However, after Prof. Lucy assessed him, she decided that Yusuf is not ready. Oh well, tak ape. My baby is ready when he is ready. He has been through so much already :) We can wait. 

I love that Yusuf likes to give me the annoyed look whenever I come to see him. Soooo cute. I love when he opens his eyes whenever we come to visit him :) Baby Yusuf cepat baik ok. Everyone is very very eager to see you sayang.

I'm going to see Yusuf with AJ tonight. Since he didn't get to see him yesterday, we're going together today :)

Baby Yusuf, wait for Mak and Ayah. Tido puas2 and wake up when we arrive ok. Hopefully we get to see you without the tubes in your mouth! :)

Home soon.

In two days, I'll be going home for good and I am actually feeling quite sad. It's quite funny because when I came here 10 months ago, I did not like this place at all. It's expensive, it's hard to get around, and I kept comparing it with Wellington and how I wished I was in Wellington instead of Sydney. But slowly, I grew to like living here but now I have to come home. Oh well, that's life I guess. Maybe in the future ada rezeki I get to go somewhere else? InshaaAllah.  I'm so not looking forward to go back to work haha. Can I just be a student forever please?

Hypnobirthing

When I first found out I was pregnant, one of the first people I told was a colleague here in UniKL. Her name is Dr. A. I knew her because we had to attend a meeting together at one of the institutes. We were talking about random stuff when I suddenly told her about my pregnancy (I have no idea why I told her). Alhamdulillah

Just a quick post- I just received back my marks for two of my units. Alhamdulillah, I think I did pretty well. I managed to get a Distinction (which is equivalent to an A grade) for Sociology and Education, which is still a huge surprise for me because I sucked at Sociology during my Alevel years (not even kidding, I used to get Cs all the time and my final result for Sociology for Alevels was also a C). Alhamdulillah a Distiction is more than I had expected so I'm very happy! I was actually very worried about this particular unit because the context is very Australian. All my assignments had to do with the Australian education system so I had to learn it from scratch. The unit also only had three on-campus classes and most of the time we had to do a lot of independent learning and listen to online lectures.
