Weekend with AJ

Good morning and happy monday everyone.

It is going to be a long busy day for me which is why I decided to visit this little place of mine and write something. I hope that it'll be a smooth day and that I will be able to get most things done. I'm taking a two-day leave starting Thursday so it is very crucial that I get things done by Wednesday. Bismillah.


Anyway, last Saturday, AJ and I did a lot of random things together. First we went to the barber to get his hair cut (because I prefer him with short hair, so much sexier ha ha). He's been trying to run away from getting his hair cut but he finally gave in. After that we went to get our nails done together. First mani & pedi session for him. (I think he enjoyed it a lot eventhough he doesn't want to admit it). He keeps looking at how shiny and clean his nails are. Later that night we kind of went to bed early (right after maghrib) and we were awake by midnight. Both of us could not sleep so we decided to check out the Big Bad Wolf that is currently going on. My first time and it was awesome. I think we bought around 20 books for under 200. Which is super awesome. I bought a lot of picture books for the baby- can't wait to read them to the baby. :) We reached home at around 6.30 am and went to bed until noon :P.




A good weekend I must say.

      Haha yes aj buat manicure and pedicure. deluxe package lagi. :P balik rumah risau kuku calar heheheh

      BBW time memalam buta after 1 am tak crowded langsung. Senang parking and boleh pilih buku dengan aman hehe :)

In two days, I'll be going home for good and I am actually feeling quite sad. It's quite funny because when I came here 10 months ago, I did not like this place at all. It's expensive, it's hard to get around, and I kept comparing it with Wellington and how I wished I was in Wellington instead of Sydney. But slowly, I grew to like living here but now I have to come home. Oh well, that's life I guess. Maybe in the future ada rezeki I get to go somewhere else? Hypnobirthing

When I first found out I was pregnant, one of the first people I told was a colleague here in UniKL. Her name is Dr. A. I knew her because we had to attend a meeting together at one of the institutes. We were talking about random stuff when I suddenly told her about my pregnancy (I have no idea why I told her). Alhamdulillah

Just a quick post- I just received back my marks for two of my units. Alhamdulillah, I think I did pretty well. I managed to get a Distinction (which is equivalent to an A grade) for Sociology and Education, which is still a huge surprise for me because I sucked at Sociology during my Alevel years (not even kidding, I used to get Cs all the time and my final result for Sociology for Alevels was also a C). Alhamdulillah a Distiction is more than I had expected so I'm very happy! I was actually very worried about this particular unit because the context is very Australian. All my assignments had to do with the Australian education system so I had to learn it from scratch. The unit also only had three on-campus classes and most of the time we had to do a lot of independent learning and listen to online lectures.
