This is beautiful.

To be honest, I was never (and still not) a fan of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie but his words just moved me:

BRAD PITT ABOUT HIS WIFE :

My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and children. She lost 30 pounds and weighted about 90 pounds. She got very skinny and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs. She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the mornings and got tired very quickly during the day. Our relationship was on the verge of a break up. Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself. She refused to shoot the films and rejected any role. I lost hope and thought that we’ll get divorced soon… But then I decided to act. After all I've got the most beautiful woman on earth. She is the idol of more than half of men and women on earth, and I was the one allowed to fall asleep next to her and to hug her. I began to shower her with flowers, kisses and compliments. I surprised and pleased her every minute. I gave her a lot of gifts and lived just for her. I spoke in public only about her. I incorporated all themes in her direction. I praised her in front of her own and our mutual friends. You won’t believe it, but she blossomed. She became better. She gained weight, was no longer nervous and loved me even more than ever. I had no clue that she CAN love that much.

And then I realized one thing: the woman is the reflection of her man.

If you love her to the point of madness, she will become it.

    tapi kan, about this post, i check balik, bukan brad pitt yg tulis... taktau siapa. but i still think it's beautiful. hehe.

    if u suka baca stories mcm ni, cuba try baca The Flower Heart (ada kat blog list). he's my friend and he writes stories... chapter by chapter so every week mcm ada bende nak look forward to :) quite nice :)

In two days, I'll be going home for good and I am actually feeling quite sad. It's quite funny because when I came here 10 months ago, I did not like this place at all. It's expensive, it's hard to get around, and I kept comparing it with Wellington and how I wished I was in Wellington instead of Sydney. But slowly, I grew to like living here but now I have to come home. Oh well, that's life I guess. Maybe in the future ada rezeki I get to go somewhere else? When I first found out I was pregnant, one of the first people I told was a colleague here in UniKL. Her name is Dr. A. I knew her because we had to attend a meeting together at one of the institutes. We were talking about random stuff when I suddenly told her about my pregnancy (I have no idea why I told her). Alhamdulillah

Just a quick post- I just received back my marks for two of my units. Alhamdulillah, I think I did pretty well. I managed to get a Distinction (which is equivalent to an A grade) for Sociology and Education, which is still a huge surprise for me because I sucked at Sociology during my Alevel years (not even kidding, I used to get Cs all the time and my final result for Sociology for Alevels was also a C). Alhamdulillah a Distiction is more than I had expected so I'm very happy! I was actually very worried about this particular unit because the context is very Australian. All my assignments had to do with the Australian education system so I had to learn it from scratch. The unit also only had three on-campus classes and most of the time we had to do a lot of independent learning and listen to online lectures.
