Awesome December


I am finally home! 

December of 2013 is by far the best month ever!

It started with my family and him coming down to Sydney and then we did a bit of travelling to Canberra and Melbourne. Then I received the news that I can graduate. Then my best friend got married and I was the maid of honor as well as the pengapit. I also got to see my best friend Zaty before she flies off to London to pursue her Masters. Oh and I got to know her awesome friends too when I tagged along to a Christmas dinner at her friend's place :)

...and I have a feeling that something that's happening in January is going to be even more awesome :)

Allahumma yassir wala tu'assir.

Snapshots: It's time.

I glance at the clock,  "One more hour...". My heart is beating faster than usual. I feel nervous. Anxious. But the good kind. I can hear noises outside my room:  people chatting and laughing, furnitures moving, and sometimes my mother's voice asking the person in charge if  everything is in order. I am in my room, sitting at the edge of my bed.  I take a look around.  The room is probably  the nicest it has ever been.  There is a bouquet of flowers on the side  table next to the bed. My best friend is talking about something, but I am not sure what.  I am too distracted. My sister comes into the room, "Are you okay?" "Yes" I smile. Hypnobirthing

When I first found out I was pregnant, one of the first people I told was a colleague here in UniKL. Her name is Dr. A. I knew her because we had to attend a meeting together at one of the institutes. We were talking about random stuff when I suddenly told her about my pregnancy (I have no idea why I told her). She told me how much she loves the process of being pregnant and urged me to find out about Hypnobirthing/Gentlebirthing.
