Three!

I actually just got back from a two-day workshop in Malacca (not as a participant, but as the organiser). It's been a tiring two days because I had to drive but I'm glad I went. This is sort of a training for me too because soon InshaaAllah I'll be conducting my own workshops on teaching and learning methodologies. So far I've only been to two workshops and already I've learned a lot of valuable lessons. I don't think I should share too much about work because I do not want to get into trouble so I'm going to stop here and talk about something else. 3 days (excluding tonight) to go before my big day! I haven't had the chance to feel the excitement yet because I've been busy. But since I'm going home tomorrow night and all my stuff are packed, I'm starting to feel a little bit excited and nervous. I hope everything goes well.  Allahumma yassir wala tu'assir, rabbi tammim bilkhoir. Amin. Mak has been whatsapping me images of th...

Update.

I guess it's a good thing that I got this job a month before my wedding. Why? Because I have to walk and use the public transport everyday to work. Which means, the tendency to gain weight is far less than if I were jobless. Alhamdulillah, Allah is indeed the best planner.  I'm happy where I am now. I still have a lot to learn about this new job, but so far I have no regrets. I am able to sleep peacefully at night, I haven't cried since I came (LOL), the team that I work with are all awesome, I love my desk, I love the fact that I can always meet up with AJ after work to take away all the stress.  I'm really grateful that I have him. Yes I know I complain a lot about him in this blog and to my friends. But it doesn't mean I don't love him. He's been good to me and we've talked about our future a lot and I think we'll be okay. I know things will not always be great between the two of us, but hopefully we'll be strong enough to sta...

Hey, I have a question.

QUESTION! If, IF, for example you are engaged to be married and your fiance just told you she got a new job offer close to where you are, would you call her to congratulate and ask her how she feels about it? Would you OFFER to help her with anything that she might need help with? For example, offer to show her around this new place she's moving to because you've been there longer? Ask her about her moving plans and if you could help her with the move?  My answer would be yes to all of the questions above.  Sadly, that's not yours.

Sad

Ask me About my day About my dreams About my plans Ask me If I'm okay If I'm feeling fine -It's not that I'm not grateful for everything that you've done. But like I told you many times before, it would be nice if you actually show that you care. I just received a job offer today and you haven't asked anything about it tonight. It kind of makes me sad. I'm about to make one of the biggest change in my life and you act like it's nothing special. I hate to tell you what I want all the time... Sometimes I want you to just know.
Goodnight and goodbye.

Putting other people down.

I read this quote when I was browsing through my twitter timeline: "If you have to put someone else down to make yourself feel better, you are the one with insecurities" Couldn't agree more.

Wake up!

I seriously do not like to pester you everyday to do things because I know you don't like that too. But we don't have that much time anymore. Please take this seriously. You need to wake up please. I can't tell you what to do each time in order for you to do it.  Very frustrated to be honest.
