Unpacking Life -

It's so good coming home to you. I feel safe. Alhamdulillah.

I really really really need a getaway. Somewhere far from here. To relax, eat and sleep. And think about nothing. Sayang please take me somewhere :(

I get sleepy a lot lately and I'm hungry all the time

Thank you for taking care of me last night when I wasn't feeling so well. For cooking that delicious dinner that made my tummy feel a whole lot better. For filling up my water bottle and putting it beside the bed in case I needed a drink. For cleaning up the house and making sure things are in order. For letting me sleep and rest while you took care of everything. For holding me close all night and making sure I was ok.  Thank you for all you've done.  Thank you for being such a wonderful husband. What did I do to deserve you?

So. It was my husband's birthday last Saturday. He's been reminding me about his birthday but at the same time telling me he doesn't want or need anything. LOL. But of course I can't just do nothing on his special day kan? I have to admit though, planning something for him is very difficult because we're together all the time. Thank God on Fridays my lunch hour is a bit longer so I decided to go to KLCC to get his presents. I've decided to get him 3 things, 1 present to represent 10 years... Yes, he's 30! Haha.  I know LEGO should be in the list because he's crazy about it. So I've already decided that way before everything else. I decided to get him LEGO Movie Bad cop/God cop set because it has gotten good reviews on it.  For the second gift, I got him a shirt. Because I like it when he looks good :P The third one is a fun one... something I've always wanted to do. I made him 10 coupons that he can use... with expiry dates. For exam...

A very busy Monday for me. Received a text message AND a whatsapp message from my boss at 7.45 a.m asking me to inform her if I have arrived at the office (I actually start work at 8.30 a.m). So I rushed upstairs as soon as we reached my workplace (Hubby drove me to work and parked his car here). I didn't even get to properly say goodbye. Sorry sayang.  I was running to give my boss the documents she asked for and then I remembered that I'm pregnant (and still in my first trimester) and shouldn't be running like that. Suddenly terasa cramp perut... Sorry baby.  Things have slowed down a bit...Finally get to sit down.  I hope I didn't affect the baby by running like that :(

We went to our second checkup last night. Active little hands and feet Heartbeat Alhamdulillah :) Grow well my dear baby, we love you very much. Ya Allah, please make this journey easy for us. Allahumma yassir wala tu'assir. Rabbi tammim bilkhoir. Amin.

9 weeks now and it has been... Challenging. Very challenging. I feel nauseated most of the time. All I want to do is sleep. But if I sleep to much, I feel even more lethargic. I'm gaining weight and I can't fit most of my clothes. I don't feel pretty. But I feel very blessed to have such a thoughtful and considerate husband. He makes this process a whole lot easier for me. Thank you sayang.  I hope 2nd trimester will be better. Baby, please have mercy on your mother. :P We love you very much and we cannot wait to meet you. Grow well :)
